Alnwick Music Festival

Every year in early August, Alnwick, in Northumberland, is filled with the sounds and sights of the Alnwick International Music Festival.

Andrew is a regular performer at the Festival and is on stage most days.

This year, the Music Festival is celebrating its 40th anniversary, and promises to be a bit special!

Eight days of passionate folk dancing, music and colourful costumes in the historic surroundings of Alnwick – a unique cultural experience!

The symbol of the Festival is a dove, an international symbol of peace. One of the aims of the festival is to promote friendship and understanding between nations, as well as offering great fun for everyone who takes part – performers and spectators alike.

Quote From Andrew:

I really enjoy this event every year and I have been lucky enough to be invited to do so for over ten years. I love the atmosphere and always look forward to meeting old friends and musicians. I am grateful for the support of the festival itself and the loyal supporters who always look forward to hearing old and new songs.
